The Roadrunner bench stunt was obviously a bit of self-promotion but it wasn’t only that. The two buildings we picked are the highest-profile new buildings in Denver and they were both designed by international architects, not by any of the many talented local firms. Plus, the MCA, an institution with a mission to support and champion new art, chose 50-year-old Bertoia and Saarinen pieces for their cafe. Denver’s got plenty of local firms cranking out good design in all fields and we thought that installing some unauthorized local benches would be an interesting comment on the relative lack of Denver in the new DAM and the new MCA Denver. Plus it was seriously fun.

Tudo começou em Paris, no início do ano de 2008… surgiram as Fury Furyzz.

Candy Zildavicious (guitarra e voz), Donna Kalos (bateria), Abigail Twelve (baixo) e Lisa Von Meister (guitarra) começaram a dar nas vistas na cidade de Paris, para depois se fazerem notar por toda a França e mesmo pela Europa, durante a « pussycat destruction Tour », que agora chega também a Portugal.

Consideradas « Electricas, sexy, furiosas e perigosas » pela crítica, foram construindo a sua reputação através de explosivos espectáculos… com muito sangue e suor.

Ao vivo a energia das Fury Furyzz transpira para fora dos palcos !

« …In front of an huge crowd which probably came out to support So Many Little sexy meringues, Fury Furyzz give us a smashing impression. Alizée all leather dressed, Kiss’ outfit on like the rest of the band. The Unpretentious, ultra-punk, fresh set of theses four riot girrrls is more than enjoyable we can feel that their heartbetas are fueled by Rock n Roll, that they get their kicks by playing faster than light and screaming like beaten up girls out of an horror movie. As a distinctive sign of class we could notice that crazy eyes vocalist/guitarist got a ripped up jeans right at her naughty part. Well... it can only be a consequence of their Pussycat destruction tour…This kick-ass band really astonished the audience by its too short concert. Just after a bloody crazy song (like the others, actually) with Plastic Invaders frontman, Fury Furyzz members get into their tour bus to get changed. Come back anytime ladies!! »

mas o que é verdade é que, a ver pelo registo de visitas deste blog, desde que coloquei aqui esta brincadeirazinha o número de visitas diárias aumentou e a grande parte dessas visitas vem à procura exactamente do que se prometia nessa brincadeirazita, o recente album do sean Riley e dos seus Slowriders. Não sei se o cd vende muito ou não quer fisicamente quer via sites, mas que ele é procurado, isso asseguro-vos que sim.
